More Information on Larazotide Capsules – 60 Capsules

Larazotide is a man-made peptide created from a toxin present in bacteria. It works by adjusting the permeability of the intestines. In situations such as celiac disease and inflammatory bowel disease, there’s an increase in intestinal permeability, often described as “leaky gut,” which permits harmful substances to cross through the intestinal wall. Larazotide’s goal is to bring back the normal operation of tight junctions, which are groups of specialized proteins that control the permeability of the intestinal wall. Larazotide is a modified, synthetic copy of the cholera toxin. Studies have demonstrated that it can influence tight junctions, thereby changing the permeability of the intestines. Essentially, larazotide helps to stop the intestines from leaking, a condition believed to play a role in diseases like inflammatory bowel disease and celiac disease.
